Policies and Procedures
Arrival to your Massage
First time clients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early. This allows time to fill out the appropriate client forms.
Established clients should arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled time. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.
Late Arrival Policy
Late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when my schedule will allow, I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at my discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.
Sickness Policy
For the health and wellbeing of you, your Massage Therapist, and fellow clients, if you are sick, please call to reschedule.
No Show Policy
Clients who do not show without cancelling are still responsible for payment.
Scope of Practice
I am a licensed professional and held to the highest standards by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals organization.
I do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. I may refer you to a medical doctor for diagnosis. My services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical attention for specific conditions.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken.
Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries
I am happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, or work longer on an area or move on if you request it.
The therapy room door is never locked.
The client may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort. The client may refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time and is free to leave.
The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. Inappropriate interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER acceptable. The session will be terminated immediately, and the client will be responsible for full payment.

Confidentiality
I treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, I will not discuss your visit with anybody without your express permission.

Conversation
It is your choice to talk or remain quiet throughout your session. I will follow your lead. There are occasions when I may need to speak to you to have you reposition, request feedback on pressure, or explain a finding.
Informed Consent
On your first visit, you will be asked to sign the Policies and Procedures form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply.
